Healthy and long-term prosperous trees in the city streets make a significant contribution to improving the quality of life in city centers. An important prerequisite for their functionality and longevity is the provision of high-quality uprooting space for the existence and growth of trees in very unfavorable urban conditions. Rootable cells create a large space for tree roots to grow in combination with the maximum possible size of a tree bowl without a cover. The implementation itself began in November 2019, the planned completion is for April 2020. The project is in charge of the Department of Environmental Protection of the City of Prague.
