The main landmark of the park Na vrchu Vítkově is the National Monument built between 1928-1932 (since 1952 with the equestrian statue of Jan Žižka), which is a National Cultural Monument. At the northern foot of the slope is the Military History Institute and the Army Museum. The upper promenade and the slopes of Vítkov provide a pleasant place for walks and relaxation, as well as for a variety of sports. For families with children, there are playgrounds, hanging swings and picnic areas in the park.
